Covid-19: Our Response

To our lovely global Wanderers Fam,

We at Wanderers are so sad about the current climate of our world and we just wanted to give you guys an update from us on how we are tackling this thing!

Here at Wanderers, we continue to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 closely, and have the health and safety of our whole community, customers and staff, front of mind. We are still open for business and shipping your orders! We are taking the current situation very seriously and have implemented high standards of hygiene and cleanliness for the protection of customers and staff and we will continue to do our very best to get your purchases to you as per our usual delivery times.

We are a small family Australian business. All of our Wanderers products are designed by us (owners Ben + Alissa) in Sydney, Australia. The products are manufactured and made with love in family owned factories in Pakistan and Italy (sunnies stock from Italy landed last year in Sydney long before the Covid-19 outbreak). 
We are well stocked and have no restrictions on our supply chain. 

Within our head office and warehouse, we are utilising recommendations from the World Health Organization and other national and state public health advisers to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are following careful sanitation practices using hand sanitiser and rigorous hand washing…as an ex-nurse I have trained our team well in this practice, we are also wiping down surfaces with disinfectant regularly. Our team have been separated into different areas in the office and warehouse to minimise contact and follow social distancing practices.

Our online store remains available 24/7 with our dedicated customer service team on hand to provide any assistance you may need or questions you may have.

Online parcel delivery remains operational, with new safety measures being rolled out across the network nationally. Australia Post and DHL are now implementing additional measures when delivering parcels. To minimise the risk of contracting or spreading the virus, all parcels do not require a signature for delivery and/or collection by Australia Post. 

We are so sorry that the seconds sale sold out and finished early! Our team have done their best to process the huge volume of orders from the sale. To those that missed out, we will be putting on something very soon to make it up to you!! 

We will continue to actively monitor this situation and keep you all updated should any changes occur. In the meantime, let’s all work together to care for each other and those around us. And wherever possible, continue to support small businesses…we are so thankful for your support of our brand!

We know many of you would have had to cancel trips, as we have, over Easter and possibly beyond. We were looking forward to some family time in our beloved Italy, but unfortunately have had to postpone. Remember, this situation will not last forever, we will be out Wandering the globe again soon…definitely with an extra dose of thankfulness and mindfulness as we are very aware, more than ever, that travel is a privilege and not an entitlement.

We are really sorry about the wild times at the moment. We wanted to let you know that we are all in this together and that we are going to get through it!
We are committed to you, to your families and your health. Those that don’t need to be at work, will now be required to work from home remotely. We will let you know who that is and how this will work. Those who are at work will be in small groups and practising all of the required safety measures for their protection and the protection of others. Safe distancing, regular sanitising of hands and arms. If anyone is unwell they shouldn’t come to work and should be isolated at home. 
Our biggest thing at the moment is the protection of our families, our team, our customers and health. 
Our loyalty is to you and to make sure we protect not only your health but your financial situation in this difficult time. We understand that our team have mortgages, rent and many other bills to pay. We will continue to pay wages for all staff. This will be a stretch for us but we are committed to you and your families. 
We ask that you remain loyal to us by being productive and proactive in your work.
We love and appreciate you all and we are confident that you will be guided and protected through this time as we navigate uncharted waters.
